Regional Police and National Police Services Agency (1994 - 2014)
During the period 1994 - 2014, there were 25 regional forces and a national acting force that was intended to support the regional forces in The Netherlands. All corps wore the same uniform and therefore the same emblem. The only difference was in the corps brevet, which is attached to the left front of the jackets. The brevet contained the name of the corps. Initially, the patch was only attached to jackets. In 2006, at the insistence of the Council of Chiefs, the so-called Revised Uniform Dutch Police (HUNP) was implemented. This is because more and more often deviations from standard uniforms. With the introduction of the HUNP, the shirts and sweaters were also provided with newly designed patches. With the introduction of the HUNP, the corps brevet also disappeared and a police brevet was introduced. As a result, there were no longer any formal differences in the appearance of the uniform of the corps. Informally, emblems were developed for teams and units within those forces. Below an overview of the emblems from the mentioned period.
As described above, all 26 corps wore the same uniform with the same emblem. Nevertheless, there were some differences in the patches that were worn from 1994 to 2014. Below an overview. Below is an overview of the patches that were worn in the regions. A large part was informally and actually not allowed.
